Plug or drainage valve:
Even though the materials used for system parts are specifically designed to protect it from frost, it is advisable just the same in areas subject to particularly cold winters to install the drainage valve at the end of the system line, to ensure that the system is emptied at the end of watering cycles. In zones with temperate climates during winter, it is sufficient to stop the end of the line with the plug. |
